CUSTOM Charcoal and Graphite Portrait

Thank you for your interest in having me make a unique piece of art of your dear loved one. It is an honor, and something I deeply love, to have the opportunity to tell stories, preserve special memories, and capture beloved people and moments through art. Thank you for trusting me with your portrait.

You may be wondering about the process, which I have outlined in detail below. Please read it carefully.

Once you have decided what your vision for your art piece is, you will place your order through this platform with the appropriate size and subjects selected. Please include your e-mail at checkout so that I can reach out to you to inquire about the specifics of your piece and to receive the high quality photo references I will need to create your portrait. If you would like to speed up the process, you are welcome to e-mail the specifics of your piece with the high quality photo references after your order has been placed to lenadraws@gmail.com.

Once reference photos have been received and we have discussed your vision, I will begin the sketch phase where you will have opportunity to review and approve the proportions and overall set up of the piece. The sketch phase is not intended to be precise, it is only to check position, proportions and the layout of the overall piece. Details will come in the next phase. After the block in sketch is approved, the work will begin.

We cannot accept order cancellations on any commission pieces after payment has been received and work has begun. Every effort will be made to create an accurate likeness of the subjects.

After the piece is finished I will e-mail another proof where there will be opportunity for reasonable, minor edits at the artist's discretion, as the perception of artwork is subjective.

When the final proof is approved I will treat the artwork with a protective fixative, and safely package and ship it to the address provided on the invoice.

Once work has begun, all sales are final. No returns. No refunds.

**The artist reserves the rights to use any images or videos taken of the drawing process or of the completed portrait to advertise or promote her work. No reference photos will be shared unless given permission to do so.
